Public Schools Web.jpg

PUBLIC SCHOOLS

Our local schools are being asked to address more needs than ever.  Beyond educating children, schools provide supplemental food, clothing, transportation, assistance to parents, and mentoring for at-risk children.  We want to partner with area schools and educators to meet some of these needs with a specific focus on providing mentors or reading buddies and meeting food needs.

Currently partnering with:

Orchard Hill (Clines), Jesup (Serena), and The Job Foundation (Kelsey)

House of Hope Web.jpg

HOUSE OF HOPE

House of Hope is a two-year transitional program for single, homeless mothers.  For over 20 years this program has been providing safe homes, life skills education, and individual support to help mothers establish self-sufficiency.  House of Hope is currently serving 15 women and their families with dozens more on a waiting list.  86% of all women who complete the program attain self-sufficiency.

As House of Hope expands to a new building, a new program will be launched to support young women aging out of Foster Care in order to prevent homelessness and the cycle of poverty.

Get involved today by serving as a mentor or tutor, offering childcare, home repair/maintenance, providing home goods, and more!
